Cornish summer lanes

Spring and summer are lovely months to visit Cornwall, as so many pretty flowers are in full bloom, the weather is usually great.

A fantastic find in the heart of Rock. Beautifully furnished room and stylish bathroom. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The host is also very welcoming. On site parking is a particular bonus. Highly recommended.

The pre arrival information and communication was excellent. Easy to find and parked outside. Welcomed in as if we were part of her family. Easy going host and a joy to chat with. Plenty to read at the property and had we stayed longer and the weather was finer would certainly have used the south facing garden. Room was well sized and bed comfortable. All spotless. We stayed as B&B guests and there was plenty of beautiful quality food to eat. We sat and ate and chatted. There was a comprehensive accommodation instruction and local information guide in the room. It was a delight to stay.

Belinda greeted us with fresh cake. She got up early the next morning to send us off with sandwiches. The house is airy, with giant windows, spacious bedrooms, and a beautiful garden. I would highly recommend staying here even if you weren't planning on going to West Linton--it's worth the trip.

Belinda is an amazing host and an even better person. She is warm and welcoming and ensures all is well with your stay. Her home is beautiful, so quiet and peaceful. Her little dog made our stay feel even more like home. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, the food and the company started our mornings right. Beautiful home, beautiful setting and very attentive host who really works to ensure your stay is the best possible. We were so well looked after with a spacious and lovely room, balcony to relax - helped along by home made baking treats. Our early morning starts were no issue for our host - providing a lovely breakfast. This home is just a short journey to Edinburgh, so ideal base without the noise of the city. This is really excellent hospitality and keen to recommend.

Belinda was a wonderful host, and really looked after us! We arrived a little tired from the long flight, and we found the rural environment perfect for relaxing and enjoying the natural environment. She was informative on things to do and places to go! I only wish we'd had the time to do half the things she suggested. I also like how she uses local products as much as possible, so it helps to build local suppliers & vendors. That's great. Breakfast & coffee were right up my street, too. We even had a small cafetiere in our room, so we could make coffee whenever we wanted. The room was exactly as we expected with a large comfy bed, outdoor deck, and great bathroom. And Belinda has a lovely, friendly little dog who will come and greet you when you arrive. Just adorable. My wife loved her house, too. Overall, a tremendous experience, thank you so much, Belinda!
